CAPTIVIS HARBOR

CAPTIVIS HARBOR

CAPTIVIS HARBOR consists of the base trap Country, which has been expanded to be self-emptying.

The trap is mounted on a horizontal beam/pipe where rats/mice run. It can be on a bulwark in a harbor, on a pipe in a barn, etc. When the rat/mouse runs on the beam/pipe it is led under the trap. Here a quantity of bait drips through the trap and down onto the beam/pipe. The rat/mouse will eat the bait and then stick its head up in the trap to get more. Here it receives a blow of up to 14 kg to the neck after which it dies on the spot. The rat/mouse then falls out through the flap on the front of the trap and into the water, in a bucket, on the ground…

CAPTIVIS HABOR has a built-in device that can reduce the risk or completely eliminate the risk of bycatch of animals other than the desired rats/mice.

HARBOR properties

Empty by itself:

  • Rats/mice will fall out of the trap themselves
  • When setting up e.g. on the bulwark of a harbor or canal the rat will be killed and then fall into the water
  • When set up on a pipe or a batten the rat will be killed and fall down, e.g. in a bucket

Reduces or completely eliminates the risk of bycatch:

  • When the supplied 0-by-catch plates are mounted rats and mice will crawl in through the hole, be killed and fall out from under the flap
